Privacy
Privacy notice
Plain version. Have a lawyer read it before you rely on it.
I run The Prop Selector. This notice says what the site collects.
The deals form asks for an email and nothing else. If a newsletter provider is connected, that address is sent to them so they can mail you a confirm link first. I don't sell the address. If the provider isn't configured, the form says so and the address is not stored.
Messages
The contact form asks for an email and a message. It goes to a webhook only if that address is set in the host environment. Otherwise nothing is saved.
Kind words
The review form asks for a name or initials, an optional country, an optional star rating, and a short note. It is sent to a webhook only if that address is set in the host environment, and only after you tick consent. I read it before it can appear on the page. If the webhook isn't set, nothing is saved. A dismissed banner is remembered in your browser, not on my server.
Feedback
The feedback form asks what kind of note it is, the note itself, an optional email if you want a reply, and an optional page link. A firm name is included when you start from that firm's page. It goes to a webhook only if that address is set in the host environment. I read it. I don't publish it. If the webhook isn't set, nothing is saved.
Cookies and analytics
The site code doesn't add an analytics cookie or a third-party tracker. Your browser still talks to the host that serves the pages. If I add analytics later, I'll update this page first.
Logs
The host may keep ordinary server logs, including an IP address, for security. The signup, contact, and feedback routes also count requests in memory so a script can't hammer the form. That count is not a marketing list.
Affiliate links
If you follow a Get deal link, the firm's site can see that you came from here. Their privacy notice applies once you're there.
Questions go through the form on the About page.
